You’re doing all the things, but inside, it still feels like too much.
The overthinking, the pressure to get it all done, and the second-guessing… it’s exhausting. You might feel tired or a little lost.
I work with people who feel stuck, whether in their heads, in their relationships, or in their sense of self. Many are navigating life with a neurospicy brain, or carrying the weight of trauma, perfectionism, and work stress.
You’re often the go-to person for others but don’t always know how to turn that care inward.
Therapy here doesn’t require a crisis or an agenda. Some days we untangle deeper patterns. Other days we make space for what’s happening right now. We’ll work with what you bring, at your pace.
You can bring the big things and the everyday ones
My approach in the therapy space
Many of my clients are high-performing, deeply empathetic individuals who have learned to mask pain through perfectionism, people-pleasing, or over-functioning. They often feel burned out, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to express their needs after years of prioritizing others. Together, we focus on reconnecting with your inner world, your emotions, your body, and your voice.
I honor the complexities of lived experience, inlcluding, race, gender, sexuality, ability, and culture, and understand how these identities shape the way we move through the world. My practice affirms LGBTQIA+ clients, BIPOC communities, and anyone navigating the tension between safety and self-expression.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing “too much” and “not enough” at the same time… you’re in the right place.
About Me
I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHCA for short!) in the state of North Carolina (license # A20059). I earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University and my BS in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
I am a sister, a Netflix reality show expert, a romance reader, and a pilates girl at heart. I have two pets that I adore, and I love Italian food! If you ever want to know about me in sessions, feel free to ask, as I will have the privilege of learning much about you.
I’ve worked in both higher levels of care and outpatient settings, supporting individuals across a range of life stages and experiences. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in behavioral therapy with children on the autism spectrum.
What I’ve found time and again is that the heart of effective therapy isn’t just the tools, methods, or fancy techniques. It’s the trust and connection between therapist and client.
A little fun fact is that research shows that one of the biggest predictors of therapy actually working is the relationship you have with your therapist.
I focus on building that connection by creating a welcoming, non-judgmental space where you can feel truly seen. I bring my unfiltered self to our work together and invite you to bring yourself, exactly as you are.
The therapeutic relationship
Contact me below.
Relationally trained, I focus on building a healing connection—one that you can carry with you beyond our therapy room into your other relationships.
In therapy, we’ll explore your relationship with yourself, others, and the world. Together, we’ll reflect on your past and present to understand how you got here and where you want to go.
